The .c/.dts/.frag files here are a point-in-time port-provenance snapshot (with standalone test programs + instructional fragments the narrative docs reference), not a maintained second copy of the kernel delta. Add a prominent canonical-source note so the snapshots (which can lag the final series, e.g. the clk CLK_IGNORE_UNUSED fix) are never mistaken for current code. patches/ + build/build-kernel.sh remain the single source of truth.
